When thirteen-year-old Jax wakes up in a world without any people, he doesn't know what to think. He soon finds out that there is a secret eighth day between Wednesday and Thursday, and some people are Transitioners, able to live in all eight days. In this amazing new world going back all the way to the time of King Arthur, he meets Evangeline, a teenage girl who exists only on this special day. Jax has to try to save Evangeline and maybe even the whole world.
