Arthur, a shy, fox-like foundling with only one ear, lives in the Home for Wayward and Misbegotten Creatures. The evil Miss Carbunkle runs the institution, terrifying all of the part animal and part human charges who live there. This is the only home Arthur has ever known, but when he meets a young bird groundling named Tricket, they find the courage to leave the home and embark on an adventure that will show Arthur his true destiny.
