Sachiko Yasui was just six years old when the atomic bomb was dropped on her hometown of Nagasaki. This true story begins with the day of the bombing and follows as Sachiko loses family and friends to the bombing and subsequent radiation sickness. Labeled as hibakusha, bomb survivor, Sachiko spends much of her life feeling like she doesn't fit in anywhere, but, as she learns more and more about inspirational leaders such as Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr, and Helen Keller, Sachiko finds her own voice.
