Willowdean "Dumplin'" Dixson is the daughter of a former beauty queen winner. Dumplin' doesn't have a super model body but she decides to enter the Miss Clover City beauty pageant to show her mom and others she has what it takes to win. This novel was recently made into a Netflix movie.
