This is the story of three siblings who were all raised by different families. Grace is dealing with a serious loss in her life and as a result, wants to connect with the brother and sister she knows are out there somewhere. Maya was adopted by a family with whom she never truly feels a part. Joaquin has serious trust issues but lives with a loving foster family, and at seventeen, they want to adopt him. These three lives collide and realize that when you are related by blood, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
