Ari and Gage were placed in foster care after their mother's death. When Gage decides he wants to move out and live on his own, he insists his sister come with him. Without a job or a plan, these siblings find themselves homeless and bouncing from place to place. Ari is trying hard to gain acceptance into an elite middle school but, without the stability of a home, her chance is dwindling.
